"Nice/Nice1" is a pseudonym used by multidisciplinary artist, muralist, and event producer Zachary Steven. Beneath the surface of an apparent personal identity (significantly influenced by prominent street and music subcultures) there are underlying thematic correlations between his immersive productions, community-focused murals, and studio pieces. In his own words: "My objective is to consistently display a high level of quality and creative integrity through work that could possibly, and quite deliberately transform monotonous spaces into lively visual experiences." Adding, " I continue to challenge myself because I am afraid of my art becoming predictable." Nice is enthusiastic about all things design, music, sports, and fitness. He is a proud father of two, and can be found creating something, somewhere in Ontario, Canada.
